Artist Statement

I paint the world around me, but every once in a while the art wanders in directions. I’m primarily a studio painter but also enjoy painting the landscape plein air where it is more about the moment.  After thirty years the urge is still there to keep working, keep pushing myself, and above all keep exploring.
