When I was in art school someone said being an artist is the best life in the world, you just have to get through the first thirty years.
I am following my dream of being a Canadian artist. This is the toughest job in the world. My mission has always been about preservation. My career has been a combination of stubborness, lots of work, and luck.
I have been told many times how my work has effected people; a healing tool, the message, memory or just sharing the happy place I have painted. It’s a humbling experience. That’s good enough for me.
