Murals

My entire adult life commission murals have been a way to put running shoes on our feet.  It’s hard work being a scaffold monkey, enduring the elements in all conditions.  I’ll never forget in 1999 being up four flights of scaffold setup in a rock garden bed painting the Penticton Vees mural and being hit by an infamous Penticton wind storm.  All my gear instantly disappeared and I wasn’t sure I’d get down the swaying structure.  That one scared me. Large scale painting is something that you get used to, excited to take on.  I was made to paint scale.
